After watching the honest college satire video I feel that college students can relate to a lot of the things mentioned in the video. Sometimes over the weekend Bloomsburg does become a ghost town like they showed in the video. A real college video would never actually mention that because it may make a student reconsider their choice. This satire video told the truth in a funny manner about things that colleges do not mention in their videos. Another thing I thought was funny was that most times in college videos or on college tours they show you the prettiest parts of the campus and the nicest buildings. The truth is that not everywhere on campus may look that nice and in different seasons the campus will not look pretty with flowers and such. I happen to think that Bloomsburg looks very pretty during the fall time though which they did not show in their college videos. The purpose of the video was to entertain and the audience was moved towards current college students so they could relate to the video. The engagement part in this video was to just get laughs and more views. Overall I thought this video did a great job entertaining the audience.
The fable was about animals that struggled with school in different ways. This can relate to students in the fact that everyone is different. Some may be good at one thing and bad at another. That is due to the multiple theory. For example, one student may not be good at writing but excels in music. If they can relate the writing topic to music they will better understand it. This fable shows that everyone learns a different way and just using one form of assessment is not fair to all of the students. The purpose of the fable was to inform people about the education process in a friendly, funny way. I think the audience was towards young adults and teachers who can make changes in their teaching methods.
